CECILIA MORIAMEZ R.

Studied in Faculty of Arts University of Chile, and obtained first degree in ceramics and sculpture in1973, and Licentiate in sculpture in 1991. From 1971 worked in Faculty of Arts University of Chile.

Main activities in Chile:

Carried out project researches established and supported by Vice-Rector of research and development of University of Chile in 1984, 1985, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001,2006 and 2009.

Main activities outside Chile:

Participated biennial and triennial meetings, research activities, conferences and lectures in Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Italy, Mexico, Dominica and Venezula.

Honors:

Distinction: Mention of Educational Master, Academic¨98. National Center of Art Schools.

CNE Art: Havana, Cuba,1998.

Representative of Foundation Igneri, as selected artists of Art and Archeology of Southern Latin America to International Ceramic Tile Triennial in 2002/2003, 2006/2007, 2009/2010. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Distinction: Espejo de Paciencia for outstanding merit in the development and promotion of culture in Cuba. Cuba, 2008 Invited Artist of VII Regional Artistic Ceramic Biennale, Valparaiso, Chile. 2009Medal of Honor IV International Ceramic Tile Triennialawarded by Igneri Foundation / Art and  Arc Archeology in the Dominican Republic. 2009.
